We work directly with professors to develop faculty-led programs for their students that are discipline specific. All of our programs are focused on students studying in the areas of criminology, criminal justice, global justice, social justice, and comparative justice systems.

ExplorED is different from other educational travel providers in that our programs are designed by professors for professors. Our programs are heavily focused on the academic side of the student experience and our tours include sample syllabi, readings, and assignments. All ExplorED programs are designed by university professors who hold a Ph.D. in their discipline and who have experience teaching and leading short-term study abroad programs.

We're built on a solid foundation of academics and travel expertise.

ExplorED Tours LLC was created by Diana L. Falco, Ph.D., an Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Dr. Falco began designing and coordinating short-term study abroad programs for her students in 2010. In an attempt to focus primarily on the academic side of program and class coordination, she worked with various travel providers. When they failed to meet her high expectations,she set out to create a new standard for excellence.
